Our sunrooms provide immensely-comfortable indoor living spaces to Alberta families.
They fully-enclose decks and patios to increase the interior square footage of homes.
Of course, all kinds of different materials are typically used to renovate and expand residential homes, but they don’t usually involve ones that provide so much natural light and views to the sky and the outdoors.
Indeed, being inside our sunrooms gives the sensation of being outdoors, yet you are enjoying indoor comfort and tranquility.
All of our 4-season sunrooms offer the following features that are crucial for Alberta families to be able to use and enjoy them on a consistent basis all year-round:
Resistance from heat and harmful solar rays: the interior is not excessively hot during the spring and summer, plus people, furniture, and everything else within the interior will be protected from damaging rays of the sun
Natural light: the interior is illuminated by sunshine all day long (plants thrive in our sunrooms!)
Protection from the elements: keep adverse weather on the outside while interior comfort is maintained, plus keep out insects, pests, and airborne debris
Strength: stand strong against severe storms, plus support very heavy snow loads
Insulation: higher ‘R’ value than most glass windows, which helps keep the interior warm during the winter (we also sell heating/AC units that can be used in our sunrooms)
Privacy: clear, bright view from the inside looking out, but significantly obscured from those looking in from the outside
Noise reduction: years of experience has demonstrated that exterior noise is significantly reduced
We also sell 3-season sunrooms that enjoy most of the above features, although they are not insulated so will be cold within the interior during the winter.
Whether 3-season or 4-season, our sunrooms provide elegance and distinctive visual appeal to properties.
The most common shape of sunroom we sell is ‘curved’. We can supply them at a slightly lower price point, plus the view to the sky is unimpeded (we don’t usually need to supply a beam that spans across the projection of the sunroom panels).
‘Square’ sunrooms are also a popular design option. The roof can be extended beyond the beam at the end of the projection, which will drain rain and snow away from the front wall of the sunroom.
However, as we always say, we can provide sunrooms in “any shape, any size“!
Our sunroom system can also be used for enclosing structures that already have a pre-existing cover. These enclosures can involve either enclosing the walk-out basement area beneath a main floor deck, or removing existing exterior walls and replacing them with our sunroom panels.
We are usually asked about enclosing existing decks and patios, but another feature of our sunrooms is that they can easily be incorporated into new constructions projects.
All in all, Alberta families use our sunrooms as places to eat meals, to celebrate special occasions, to entertain family and friends, to do some quiet reading, to exercise, to grow plants, to study, to catch up on work (even as home offices), or to simply relax. Either way, the sunroom becomes a favourite part of every home. Plus, they typically add significant value to properties as they create very desirable indoor living spaces (without ever losing their appeal).
Our sunrooms truly provide ultimate interior square footage that can be used and enjoyed throughout each year, for many, many years to come.
